Security is Our Number One Priority

The International Strategic Studies Association and Defense & Foreign Affairs have been dealing for four decades with the concerns of national leaders from around the world, and have, as a first priority, the physical security and the protection of information relating to its members and delegates to its gatherings.

Strategy2011, the 1st Annual Conference on Indian Ocean Trade & Security, is no exception. Additionally, the conference venue will be extremely secure. The organizers will liaise closely between delegates and their governments and the host city — and nation's — security services to ensure maximum confidence in the protection being afforded to delegates and to the conference site.

The organizers also undertake to keep confidential the mailing lists and records relating to conference delegates, and these contact details will only be used to ensure contact and follow-up relating to the event.

The organizers will happily assist in facilitating the appropriate documentation to ensure that approved delegates to Strategy2011 can be fully prepared with appropriate travel documentation and linkages to the host government (as necessary).

The Conference Director, Pamela von Gruber (who is also the Executive Director of ISSA), will, as she has done since 1982, handle personal liaison matters for delegates, and she can be contacted at marketing@strategicstudies.org.
